The story so far
Ládipọ̀ 'Silk' Ògúndèjì arrived at the Fence Line trial with a fan, a flourish, and an opening address so long the court broke for feed before he reached his first point. He is the Republic's most famous lawyer chiefly because he says so, loudly, at every opportunity, and because no one else has wanted the title badly enough to argue.
His defence of Eseosa became the great show of the season. Buried under a great many long words was a sharp point: that the heat and the crowded roost were as much to blame as his client, and that a coop built to fail should share the verdict. The court agreed with half of it, which he has since called 'a complete and historic vindication.'
He lost his client to exile and gained a reputation, which by his own accounting is the better trade. He is available, at length, for your next dispute over a perch.
